Lovefilm rapped over ‘unlimited’ adverts

The company has come in from criticism from users over its claim to offer ‘unlimited’ DVD rentals in its unlimted adverts.

It was revealed that they practice “throttling”. This is where high-volume users may experience a greater likelihood of slower delivery from alternate warehouses, and selections from lower in their rental queue. They are also less likely to receive replacement shipments on the same day a disc is received
