Under his stewardship LOVEFilm has grown to a million subscribers with a £70m turnover.

LoveFilm the UK’s leading film rental service in the UK with some 1m users is considering takeover offers from a number of private equity firms. The company is reportedly being valued at £200m with £72 million revenue is considering options that include selling a majority share of the business or launching an IPO.
“The company has received a number of approaches and the board is exploring options on behalf of the group and its shareholders,” a LoveFilm spokesperson said, without commenting further.

Lovefilm shows that Blu-ray Rental is proving to be popular despite some suggesting that digital downloads will overtake blu ray before it gets going.
